The article is devoted to the study of the perception of patriotism among representatives of two youth generations: zoomers and millennials. The concepts of "youth" and "patriotism" are considered, as well as the peculiarities of understanding patriotism among each generation of youth. The survey data is analyzed in comparison with the results of All-Russian research cen-ters and educational institutions
