Практична реалізація розрахунків кабельних ліній у середовищі MATLAB/Simulink
This paper addresses the practical implementation of calculating a three-phase power transmission cable line in the MATLAB/Simulink environment using exclusively the standard (basic) blocks provided by the software. The primary objective of the study is to develop a simulation model of a cable line that can operate in the online version of Simulink without relying on specialized libraries or a full software license, thereby making the proposed approach accessible for educational and academic research purposes. The research implements a three-phase cable line model based on π-sections, which accounts for the main electrical parameters of the cable and enables the investigation of electromagnetic processes occurring during electric power transmission. As a result of computer-based simulations, oscillograms of the time-domain waveforms of phase voltages and currents were obtained, allowing for the analysis of both transient and steady-state operating conditions of the cable line. In addition, power transmission through an underground cable was examined by developing a model consisting of three independent phase channels, each described by RL-type electrical circuit equations with an active load. The developed model reproduces the principal physical processes in a three-phase cable line and can be applied to the analysis of power system operating conditions within the Simulink Online environment. The obtained results confirm the feasibility of using simplified models based on standard blocks for preliminary engineering calculations. The proposed approach is particularly useful in the educational process, especially under distance learning conditions, and for basic analyses of operating regimes of power transmission cable lines.
