FORMATION OF NEW PROTON-EXCHANGE POLYMER MEMBRANES IN THE STYRENE SULFONIC ACID/4-VINYLPYRIDINE SYSTEM

The article examines the synthesis features and physicochemical properties of polymer proton-exchange membranes based on copolymers of styrene sulfonic acid and 4-vinylpyridine. The resulting membranes are characterized by high values of specific electrical conductivity (up to 123 mS/cm), ion-exchange capacity (up to 6 mg-eq/l), and water absorption (up to 128%)
