ON THE RELEVANCE OF CATALYTIC REFORMING INSTALLATION MODERNIZATION

The paper discusses options for the technological design of the catalytic reforming process and shows that switching from a catalytic reforming unit with periodic catalyst regeneration to a continuous catalyst regeneration unit can increase the octane number of the reformate, produce hydrogen-containing gas with a higher hydrogen content, and allow for the control of the cata-yst quantity without stopping the process
