Electro-Archaeology: Atmospheric Electrostatic Interaction With Historical Architecture
Abstract: Version 2.1 corrects organizational naming and clarifies access metadata. No substantive content changes have been made relative to Version 2.0.Electro-Archaeology White Paper I (Second Edition) establishes the foundational scientific framework for understanding luminous architectural phenomena in the ancient and medieval world. Drawing upon atmospheric electrodynamics, mineral luminescence, dielectric geology, architectural geometry, hydrology, and historical testimony, this work demonstrates that pre-modern structures interacted with the global atmospheric electric circuit in predictable, measurable ways. This Second Edition is a comprehensive rewrite of the initial publication. It presents a unified physical theory of electro-luminescent architecture, introduces new evidence from recent materials-science research, refines the historical record, and incorporates a detailed experimental program for future reconstruction. White Paper I forms the first volume in the Electro-Archaeology series, followed by White Paper II: The Invisible Empire of the North and White Paper III: Interior Electrodynamics and Regalia Technologies (forthcoming).
