Adaptive Leader Following of Matrix Weighted Network

This study investigates adaptive leader-following in linear multi-agent systems under matrix weighted networks. The proposed protocol employs switching logic to adjust coupling weights in a piecewise-constant manner using only local information from neighboring agents. Therefore, the proposed protocol is completely decentralized and independent of global information about network topology. The method's effectiveness is demonstrated through a numerical example of a matrix weighted network.

Abstract

This study investigates adaptive leader-following in linear multi-agent systems under matrix weighted networks. The proposed protocol employs switching logic to adjust coupling weights in a piecewise-constant manner using only local information from neighboring agents. Therefore, the proposed protocol is completely decentralized and independent of global information about network topology. The method's effectiveness is demonstrated through a numerical example of a matrix weighted network.
