The role of digitalization in health decisions: family and intergenerational perspective
Research findings revealed that the level of use of digital health applications and attitudes towards these applications are not the same across all generations. Most respondents reported that important health decisions are made in consultation with family members. Younger individuals gathered information from digital sources to support the decisions of older family members, but the final decision was mostly made by older individuals; however, these decisions were most often driven by Gen Xers.
