A Collapse Sequence Model for Fast Radio Bursts

This paper develops a structural model for Fast Radio Bursts based on a threshold‑collapse sequence inside compact objects. In this framework, each burst is produced by a rapid instability, and the interval to the next burst is determined by the depth of the reset that follows the collapse. Timing becomes a memory of internal state, generating the universal short, medium, and long interval structure observed across the FRB population. The model unifies repeating and apparently non‑repeating sources, explains the correlation between burst duration and interval length, and accounts for heavy‑tailed interval distributions and activity‑state transitions. It is a purely conceptual architecture built from first principles, independent of microphysical assumptions and external literature. The collapse‑sequence framework provides a coherent, falsifiable interpretation of FRBs as expressions of a universal dynamical process operating within compact objects.
