Polydimethylsiloxane-assisted low-energy anodization: a fluoride-free tunable strategy for engineering porous TiO 2 films

PDMS-assisted anodization suppresses oxygen evolution to enable energy-efficient, fluoride-free formation of uniform and strongly adherent porous TiO 2 films, while silicate ions provide additional energy reduction and enhanced corrosion resistance.
