Abstract

It is crucial for manufacturing companies to consider the value of knowledge and implementation of Business Continuity Management (BCM), which is a strategic approach, in order to lessen the impact of any business disruptions that would negatively affect the organization. BCM will help identify the potential threats or possible risks that might contribute to the discontinuity of business operations. This research work provides a conceptual analysis of BCM and how it will help companies continue their operation in the midst of business disruptions. BCM is a vital tool to enhance the resiliency, collaboration, and agility of the employees, which will help sustain the business operations of the company. The researcher presented the level of knowledge regarding BCM in terms of Risk Management, Crisis Management, Disaster Prevention, Recovery Plan, and Disk Mirroring on Technology. The findings indicated that the respondents had strong knowledge of the principles of BCM.
