In vitro quantitative comparison of the release of growth factors – Transforming growth factor-β1, vascular endothelial growth factor-A and platelet-derived growth factor-AB from root canal dentin after conditioning with 17% ethylenediaminetetraaceti
Treatment of dentin with 17% EDTA and 10% citric acid significantly enhanced the release of all the growth factors, especially TGF-β1, with 10% citric acid being more effective compared to 17% EDTA.
