On Asymptotic Properties of Polynomials Defined by Shifted Orthogonality Conditions

The paper is devoted to the problem of limit zero distribution of polynomials defined by shifted orthogonal relations. Such polynomials are connected to classical methods of rational approximation and their asymptotics (zero distribution) plays an important role in the theory of this approximations. In turn, to derive asymptotics of this polynomials we use associated orthogonality relations in plane and on a Riemann surface (two sheeted covering over the plane).

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problem of limit zero distribution of polynomials defined by shifted orthogonal relations. Such polynomials are connected to classical methods of rational approximation and their asymptotics (zero distribution) plays an important role in the theory of this approximations. In turn, to derive asymptotics of this polynomials we use associated orthogonality relations in plane and on a Riemann surface (two sheeted covering over the plane).
