AADL Modeling and Schedulability Analysis of Multiprocessor Architectures
Although significant efforts has been made to investigate schedulability analysis in the context of multiprocessor real-time systems, performing such an analysis stays difficult to achieve in practice. In this article, we present an approach to model and perform schedulability analysis with the Architecture Analysis and Description Language (AADL) and its ecosystem. We show how to model with AADL different types of multiprocessors and how to assess schedulability. These proposals have been implemented as an OSATE plug-in and in the Cheddar tool.
