Factors Influencing Actual Usage of ChatGPT: An Extended TAM Study Among University Students in Jakarta
As one of the leading innovations in AI, GPT Chat has played a significant role in various fields such as education, healthcare, finance, and more since its launch in 2022. However, due to several issues, such as lack of data accuracy, data privacy, and transparency, particularly among students, such as plagiarism, inaccurate answers, and others, this study was conducted to determine whether GPT chat technology has been accepted in education, particularly among active undergraduate and graduate students. This study examined the influence of external factors such as information quality, system quality, AI literacy, and trust on user perceptions and perceived ease of use. This study employed a qualitative approach with a survey using a snowball sampling technique. Respondents were targeted at 100 people using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. This research is expected to provide knowledge to the public, particularly from the perspective of the acceptance of ChatGPT/AI chat technology in higher education.
