The Invisible Inner (Series I): The Moment Consciousness Encounters Itself
This work explores an inner state that exists prior to the emergence of language and conceptual thought. Within a restrained and dark visual field, subtle traces of light suggest a moment of stillness immediately preceding self-awareness—an interval in which emotion and thought have not yet taken form. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative or symbolic certainty, the work invites viewers to remain quietly with the image, allowing personal sensations, memories, and emotions to surface in their own time. The experience is contemplative rather than explanatory, encouraging presence over interpretation. The images included in this paper are currently presented on Saatchi Art and form part of an ongoing research and artistic practice that explores silence, perception, and inner depth through abstract visual language.
