A series of highly efficient luminescent Cu(I)‐iodide cluster halides were prepared on a large scale by aqueous phase grinding method. In this work, an X‐ray detector system was fabricated by integrating a high‐efficiency light‐emitting copper‐iodine cluster NaCuI scintillator screen with a thin‐film transistor (TFT) panel. This detection system can convert X‐ray signals into electrical signals, thereby enabling direct imaging visualization on mobile phones. Most importantly, the developed X‐ray flat panel detector successfully simulated Marine engineering exploration and achieved underwater non‐destructive testing. This work not only offers a new strategy for the large‐scale synthesis of Cu(I)‐iodide halide scintillators for X‐ray detection and imaging applications, but also provides valuable insights into their application in extreme environments. image

Abstract

This work not only offers a new strategy for the large‐scale synthesis of Cu(I)‐iodide halide scintillators for X‐ray detection and imaging applications, but also provides valuable insights into their application in extreme environments. image
