Structural Market Behavior and Systematic Trading: Multi-Instrument Validation of the BLT Engine
This paper presents an empirical evaluation of the BLT Engine, a systematic tradingframework derived from a structural market theory and assessed through multi-instrument,multi-year historical simulation and statistical robustness testing. Rather than disclosing implementation details, the study focuses on the observablebehavior of the framework under real historical market conditions. Evaluation criteriainclude profitability consistency, drawdown containment, equity stability, andsensitivity to trade-sequence variability across heterogeneous instruments and marketregimes. Performance metrics are complemented by Monte Carlo resampling, in which realized tradesare randomly reordered to generate alternative equity trajectories. This procedure allowsfor a rigorous assessment of robustness and path dependency. Across all evaluatedscenarios, results indicate bounded equity dispersion and the absence of structuralfailure, suggesting that observed performance reflects persistent structural marketbehavior rather than favorable sequencing effects. The findings support the relevance of structural market frameworks for systematic tradingresearch and provide empirical evidence consistent with the theoretical foundations ofthe BLT Engine.
