Hair vibrancy: A quantitative multi‐modal approach bridging consumer perception, expert and instrumental evaluation
Hair vibrancy is operationally defined as a multidimensional perceptual attribute, integrating luminosity (colour/shine), structural integrity (smoothness/alignment) and apparent vitality, perceived visually and tactilely. These findings provide a robust framework for understanding hair vibrancy, facilitating faster product formulation and stronger claim substantiation. This study clarifies key attributes for ideal hair colour vibrancy, guiding product development to meet consumer expectations.
