REHOUSE public report: Digital Twins of the 4 buildings of the 4 demos
Summary: This report presents the creation of the Building Information Modelling (BIM)-based Digital Twins (DTs) for the four REHOUSE demo sites located in Greece, Hungary, France, and Italy. Detailed BIM models been developed according to the specifications from Task "Open Specifications for common data repository": digital building logbooks (BIM, DT, BRP) for data collection of construction and operation phases of the REHOUSE project, and serve as the static foundation for the integration of real-time data and dynamic analysis throughout the project lifecycle. In the context of the REHOUSE project, eight Renovation Packages have been defined to enhance the sustainability and energy performance of the demo buildings. These Renovation Packages are incorporated into the Digital Twins models, allowing for their validation in each of the four demo sites. The Digital Twins play a critical role in assessing the performance of these Renovation Packages, providing a comprehensive view of the renovation outcomes. The Digital Twins are developed to integrate with the BIM-based Digital Building Logbook (DBL) of the REHOUSE project and the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodology, ensuring that all phases of design, execution, and operation are monitored in real-time. This integration enables stakeholders to access data on building materials, technical systems, and renovation results, while supporting innovations such as Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) reports and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
