Unravelling solid-state microstructures from oligomers to polymers of an isoindigo-based π-conjugated system

This study synthesized isoindigo-based oligomers with varying backbone and side-chain lengths to explore their effects on solid-state microstructures and properties by tuning the balance between π–π interactions and side-chain interactions.
