Preface
To expand the AJTEC series, JSME decided that this new conference series, PRTECs, was launched by collaborating with the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME) and the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE).The key themes of the PRTEC series are "Fundamental", "Interdisciplinary" and "Diversity" with a vision for the future of Thermal Engineering. The first and the second conferences in the PRTEC series (PRTEC2016) were held in Hawaii's Big Island in March 2016 and in Maui Island in December 2019, and were very successful events. The PRTEC 2024 was composed of 6 plenary lectures, 14 keynotes, 87 general sessions (3 tracks with 16 topics).
