High-throughput C–H activation in a bead-beater homogenizer: fast and regioselective access to 2-arylindoles

This work demonstrates the utility of a bead-beater homogenizer for high-throughput mechanosynthesis (HTMS), exemplified by Pd( ii )-catalyzed C2-H arylation of indoles in simple polypropylene vials with SS balls, affording products in just 9 min.
