Risk stratification of groin node metastases in vulvar cancer biopsies based on histology and immunohistochemical staining
These findings suggest that poor differentiation and invasive/spray-patterned growth in biopsies are indicative of increased groin LNM risk, whereas well-differentiated tumors and pushing growth patterns may confer a more favourable prognosis. Further research is warranted to optimize surgical decision-making regarding groin node management. IHC markers evaluated herein showed no significant prognostic utility.
