Algebraic Structures of Fermatean Fuzzy Relations with Applications in Decision-Making

This paper introduces the concept of Fermatean Fuzzy Relations (FFRs) as an extension of Fermatean Fuzzy Sets to relational structures. The algebraic properties of FFRs are investigated, and their behavior under composition and other operations is analyzed. These results establish a theoretical foundation for applying FFRs in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) contexts. Illustrative examples and applications demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed relations in handling uncertainty and improving decision-making performance.

Abstract

This paper introduces the concept of Fermatean Fuzzy Relations (FFRs) as an extension of Fermatean Fuzzy Sets to relational structures. The algebraic properties of FFRs are investigated, and their behavior under composition and other operations is analyzed. These results establish a theoretical foundation for applying FFRs in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) contexts. Illustrative examples and applications demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed relations in handling uncertainty and improving decision-making performance.
