PLANT MEDIATED SYNTHESIS OF MAGNETITE NANO PARTICLES AND ITS APPLICATIONS IN DIVERSE FIELDS-A COMPREHENCIVE REVIEW

ABSTRACT: Nanotechnology and nanomaterials are two of the rapidly growing fields in science now a day.Hydrothermal, sol-gel, laser-ablation, electrochemical, and thermal processes are among the most traditional ways tosynthesise nanoparticles. Iron nanoparticles synthesised by biogenic means provide a number of merits over traditionalmethods, such as the fact that they are non-polluting, simple, inexpensive, and do not pose any health risks to humans.Nanoparticles of magnetite have been extensively used in medicinal and industrial applications because of their distinctfeatures. In many applications, precise control of nanoparticle morphology and size is essential. Plant extract content, temperature, and pH all influence the size of the nanoparticles that develop. It provides an overview of the plant-mediatedproduction of magnetite nanoparticles, probable chemicals, and mechanisms that may be involved in the reductionprocess, and their potential applications in a variety of fields.
