The deconfinement of the Schwinger model in deformed space: generalized uncertainty principle effects

In this article, we investigate the confinement phase of the (1 + 1)-dimensional massive Schwinger model with a θ-term in the presence of the minimal length. In this minimal length formalism, the generalized uncertainty principle [Formula: see text] correction, which induces quantum gravitational effects, is implemented using deformed operators. The study involves examining the potential derived from the Schwinger model Lagrangian with deformed operators. We find that the [Formula: see text]-corrected Schwinger model, with vacuum polarization effects, exhibits physical deconfinement. Also, we find that the GUP corrections are ∼10% at the Future Circular Collider, which may be sufficient to induce the deconfinement phase.
