Rigid arc-shaped ligands for the fabrication of dative B–N-bonded crystalline porous polymers
Purely organic porous frameworks continue to attract intense interest for the unique opportunities they offer in molecular design and function. Dative B-N bonds are ideal linkages for such frameworks, enabling structural precision and robust performance. However, the substantial conformational freedom associated with dative B-N bonds hinders porosity control. By using rigid arc-shaped ligands to guide dative B-N assembly, we suppress interpenetration and obtain a high-porosity crystalline porous polymer with continuous channels, which enables dynamic C2H2/CO2 separation and provides a general strategy for purely organic porous frameworks.
