Data analysis of space-borne gravitational wave missions
In the millihertz frequency band, it is expected that there will be a large number of gravitational wave signals with wide varieties. The successful detection of these signals is expected to open a new window to peek into the evolution of astronomical bodies as well as the universe.Researchers all around the world have successively proposed a series of space-borne gravitational wave missions such as TianQin, LISA, and Taiji to achieve the detection of gravitational wave signals in the millihertz frequency band. The data processing of space-borne gravitational wave detection faces challenges like high precision waveform modeling, source parameters like mass spanning several orders of magnitude, and gravitational wave signals overlapping each other. These characteristics put forward stringent requirements on the effectiveness and reliability of data processing software in signal detection and parameter estimation. This document aims to provide a review of some studies for space-borne gravitational wave detection data processing.
