The Generative Operation of Color in Algorithmic Image Culture

Abstract This research note articulates a theoretical position on the nature of color generativity within the context of algorithmic image culture. Drawing on the theoretical framework developed in the previous study Version 7 the text argues that color cannot be fully reduced to computable optimizable or parametrizable data. In this approach color is understood not as a tool not as a decorative element and not as a form following attribute but as an autonomous experiential and temporal generative principle. The purpose of this document is not empirical validation or historical analysis but the articulation of a clear theoretical position that defines the researcher’s stance toward contemporary algorithmic and artificial intelligence based visual systems. Abstract
