The possible impact of resveratrol on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell therapy in male albino rats with dox-induced cardiotoxicity in their heart tissue

This study looked at the possible advantages of using mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) extracted from bone marrow and resveratrol (RES), either independently or in combination, to improve heart functions in a rat model of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity. Assessing resveratrol's role in MSC efficacy is another goal. During the trial period, the mean body weights were measured once every seven days. Following a month of MSC treatment, all rats were killed while fasting under ether anesthesia, and the tissue from the Hearts were weighed and maintained for histopathological and immunohistological examination on formalin. Serum samples were separated after the heart's blood was drawn into tubes for biochemical analysis (serum levels of cardiac troponin T (CT-nT), creatine kinase MB (CK-MB), CRP and atrial natriuretic peptide (LDH)) by centrifugation at 3000 rpm for 15 minutes. Determination of antioxidant parameters in cardiac tissue (GSH and SOD) and oxidative stress marker (MDA), also recoded Inflammatory mediators marker and anti-inflammatory mediators markers (NF Kb and IL 10).
