A review of theoretical research on synchronous vibration of excitation devices

With the continuous development of vibrating machinery, the study of vibration synchronization between exciters is also gradually maturing; vibration synchronization can enhance the screening performance of the vibrating screen, optimize the system structure, and save resources and energy to achieve the vibration trajectory needed in the complex working conditions, which is of great significance in the field of engineering applications and mechanical design. The purpose of this paper is to provide a relatively comprehensive literature review on vibration synchronization between exciters in vibrating systems by collecting relevant literature from recent years. This includes introducing types of vibration synchronization, elucidating system synchronization mechanisms, summarizing and analyzing current modeling approaches and mathematical model solution methods, mapping out solution workflows, and identifying current research gaps. Common control strategies are described and compared, with representative numerical examples of vibration systems provided. Finally, we summarize recent research achievements in the field of vibration synchronization among exciters, aiming to provide readers with a reference for understanding vibration synchronization research and related analytical steps.
