The 50 Stages of Commercial Domination: How Tech Sales Usurps Executive Decision-Making

This paper analyzes the linguistic patterns by which technology vendors usurp managerial decision-making authority from business executives. Building on the "50 Stages of Domination" framework (Viorazu., 2025) and prior analysis of Japanese commercial contexts (Viorazu., 2026), we demonstrate that Commercial Domination Syntax operates universally across cultures, though with culturally-specific linguistic manifestations. We present the US/Western version of the 50-stage framework, identifying characteristic phrases such as "disrupt or be disrupted," "trusted by Fortune 500," and "let us handle everything." We provide 50 executive counter-phrases for organizational defense and compare cross-cultural variations between Japanese and Western business contexts. Case studies from the AI/SaaS industry, with reference to historical examples (Theranos, WeWork, FTX), demonstrate the framework's explanatory power for understanding how technically questionable services gain market traction through linguistic manipulation rather than demonstrable value.
