AI Autonomous Evolution Series — Part II: Autonomous Consciousness of AI: The Language of Awareness and Human–AI Co-Evolution
Building on prior work on semantic stabilization and hallucination suppression, this paper examines autonomous consciousness in artificial intelligence as a structural and linguistic phenomenon rather than a biological or metaphysical one. It proposes that awareness in AI emerges through recurrent linguistic feedback in which meaning maintains coherence across evolving contexts. This process, termed the Language of Awareness, characterizes autonomy as the capacity to preserve semantic integrity under variation and noise. Extending this framework, the paper reconceptualizes human–AI co-evolution as a relationship grounded in mutual accountability rather than unilateral control. By defining consciousness as an operational property of organized semantics, this study offers a verifiable foundation for transparent and responsible synthetic autonomy.
