Effect of Foliar Feeding with Fulvic Acid and Potassium Citrate on The Growth, Productivity and Quality of Eggplant

This study was carried out on a private vegetable farm in the Al-Qurain District in Governorate of Sharkia, during 2024and 2025 summer seasons, with the aim of studying the effect of foliar spraying with both fulvic acid at a concentration of 0, 2, and 4 grams/liter, as well as potassium citrate, at a concentration of 0, 2, and 4 ml/liter) on growth, productivityand quality of eggplant fruits cv. Anamur RZ F1 . The results obtained were as follows: The interaction between sprayingeggplants grown in sandy soil during summer plantations with 4 g/l of fulvic acid and potassium citrate at 4 ml/l increased total dry weight/ plant, fruit number / plant, fruit weight, yield / plant, total yield and vitamin C contents infruits. The increases in total yield /fed. (as average of the two seasons ) were about 115.33 % for FA at 4 g /l and KCit at 4ml/l over the control (water).
