A dataset of monitoring data for the Baijiabao Landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir area

<p indent="0mm">Reservoir construction and operation can trigger landslide disasters. Long-term stable scientific observation is important for understanding the characteristics and evolution patterns of landslide deformation. To address the lack of long-term observational data in reservoir landslide studies, the research team conducted long-term, stable in-situ monitoring of the Baijiabao Landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. Automatic monitoring equipment was deployed on site to obtain data related landslide deformation and reservoir water-level fluctuations, including surface GNSS deformation data, surface crack data, reservoir water level change data, and rainfall data. A comprehensive data quality control and evaluation workflow was established, and data accuracy was ensured through manual verification, field surveys and other methods. Covering the period from 2017 to 2024, this dataset provides data support for understanding the deformation evolution patterns of reservoir landslides, landslide early warning, prediction evaluation, optimization of engineering treatment schemes, and the development and refinement of landslide stability theories.
