Helminth Parasites of European Glass Lizard, Pseudopus apodus (Pallas, 1775) (Squamata: Anguidae), Collected from Northern Turkey
A total of 31 European glass lizard, Pseudopus apodus specimens (12 males, 19 females) collected from 8 different localities in Çanakkale, Samsun and Kars provinces (Northern Turkey) between 2004—2011 and preserved as museum specimens were examined for helminths for the first time. P. apodus harbored one species of cestoda (Mesocestoides sp. Tetrathyridia), one species of digenea (Telorchis assula), four species of nematoda (Entomelas ophisauri, Oswaldocruzia filiformis, Parapharyngodon skrjabini, and Neoxysomatium brevicaudatum) and one species of Acanthocephala (Centrorhynchus sp).
