Two new naphthopyrones and a new prenylisoflavone from Berchemia lineata
Two new naphthopyrones, berchelineatones A and B ( 1 and 2 ), together with a new prenylisoflavone ( 3 ), were isolated from Berchemia lineata . Their structures were primarily determined by high-resolution mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallographic data analysis. Notably, compounds 1 and 2 exhibited potent inhibition on nitric oxide (NO) production induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in RAW264.7 macrophages, with IC 50 values of 2.52 and 2.06 μ M, respectively. • Two new naphthopyrones and a new prenylisoflavone were isolated from Berchemia lineata . • The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic data analysis. • Berchelineatones A and B exhibited significant NO inhibitory activity.
