Prognostic value of the CRP–TyG index for in-hospital and 1-year mortality in patients with decompensated heart failure

Admission CTI values independently predict in-hospital mortality in CCU patients with DHF and are also significantly associated with 1-year mortality. With its simple and accessible components, CTI may serve as a practical parameter for early risk assessment in the intensive care setting.
