Propagation Characteristics of Love-Type Waves in a Nonlocal Anisotropic Heterogeneous Layer over an Orthotropic Half Space
The dispersion of love wave equation has been studied at the interface of an anisotropic model composition with heterogeneous medium and orthotropic half-space . Both the layer and half-space have been considered under nonlocal elasticity. Separation variable method has been applied to obtain the required displacements of the waves. Continuing and free surface boundary conditions have been introduced and used to generate required dispersion equation. Using MATLAB software, graphical representation of the love waves and its limitations have been discussed.
