Capital repairs are designed to improve the operational characteristics of buildings and the level of compliance with modern standards that have been lost because of physical and moral deterioration. The authors identify 6 basic principles that should be used when choosing organizational and technological solutions for capital repair of medical facilities in their operating conditions: patient and staff safety; Compliance with requirements for cleanliness and air quality; Exclusion of noise and vibration; Limitation of traffic and work sites; Minimizing disconnection of engineering systems and Consulting with the administration of the institution. The authors also give examples of organizational and technological solutions, thanks to which it is possible to carry out certain repair and construction work during the functioning of the institution. However, such decisions can lead to an increase in the cost of the project, which, as the authors note, may be the subject of criticism.
