TNA in Endocrinology: Throughput, Incoherence, and the Dynamics of Hormonal Stability
Endocrinology is traditionally modeled through hormone feedback loops, receptor sensitivity, and glandular secretion. This paper proposes a TNA-based framework, viewing the endocrine system as an open, non-equilibrium system where hormonal coherence requires continuous throughput (Ψ) to discharge incoming incoherence (G). When G exceeds Ψ, accumulated incoherence (ℵ) manifests as insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction, or stress-related hormonal imbalance. Phenomena such as type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can be reframed as throughput saturation events rather than primary gland failure. The model is falsifiable, predictive, and unifies multiple hormonal axes under a single mechanical principle.
