TNA in Dermatology: Throughput, Incoherence, and Skin Health
Dermatology traditionally models skin health through barrier function, immune responses, and microbiome balance. This paper proposes a TNA-based framework, viewing skin as an open system where epidermal and dermal coherence requires continuous throughput (Ψ) to discharge incoming incoherence (G). When G exceeds Ψ, accumulated incoherence (ℵ) manifests as dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, or delayed wound healing. Environmental factors, aging, and lifestyle are reframed as throughput stressors rather than primary defects. The model is falsifiable, predictive, and integrates barrier, immune, and microbiome dynamics in a unified framework.
