Exploring Emerging Trends in Student-Led Research through a Systematic Review: An Inventory of Published Papers for the Third Trimester of 2025
Student research has become a visible and influential part of academic discourse, offering insights shaped by direct educational experiences. When examined collectively, these works reveal patterns and concerns that are often closely tied to student learning, development, and institutional practices. Bringing these findings together allows student voices to inform improvements in educational programs and services in meaningful ways. A structured review process was used to gather and examine student-authored publications from national and international sources within a defined period. The selected works were organized and analyzed through layered comparison to reveal shared patterns and emerging directions in student research. Student-led publications reveal meaningful insights into identity, well-being, ethics, and personal development within academic settings. When reviewed collectively, these works highlight shared concerns and practical knowledge grounded in real student experiences. The findings show that student research contributes valuable evidence that can guide educational programs and support services. Organizing and examining these publications strengthens their relevance and use within institutions. Overall, student scholarship emerges as a credible and important source of insight for improving educational practice and student support.
