Hemostatic Pulpotomy Agents: A Clinical Perspective
Abstract The most common therapy for pulp exposed by caries in primary molars without symptoms is pulpotomy, and controlling pulpal bleeding is still a crucial step. One of the most important factors in enhancing the positive outcome of pulpotomy is the hemostatic potential of the pulpotomy agent. There is currently insufficient knowledge to determine which material is most suited for pulpotomies on primary teeth, even though a variety of therapeutic medications have been utilized to achieve hemostasis during pulpotomy and to encourage the devitalization, preservation, or regeneration of the pulp tissue. Thus, a variety of hemostatic pulpotomy agents have been discussed in this communication together with their clinical consequences.
