Comment on ‘National epidemiology of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, England 2013–2022’
We present national epidemiology and tertiary referral data for dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) in Ireland. Between 2013 to 2022, 126 cases were identified in the National Cancer Registry of Ireland, with a slight female predominance. In 33 cases managed at a tertiary Mohs micrographic surgery centre, we describe referral pathways, management and tumour characteristics, providing new insight into DFSP demographics and real-world treatment patterns.
