Tripartite Preceptorship Program
Abstract Preceptorship/mentorship is a program in the educational institute where the experienced faculties act as role models to support, facilitate, and monitor the curricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular progress of the student on a regular basis, along with their parents in the loop. It aims to provide students with hands-on clinical experience under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals, known as preceptors, and to prepare Indian medical graduates for their future roles as competent, compassionate, and ethical healthcare professionals capable of providing high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings. The collaboration between teachers, students, and parents can lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness in achieving shared objectives. Tripartite clubbing has the potential to harness the collective strengths of each group toward common goals, such as improving educational outcomes, fostering a supportive learning environment, or enhancing communication between stakeholders. By sharing responsibilities and risks in a tripartite arrangement, stakeholders can create a more robust and sustainable framework to achieve shared objectives.
