Factors Affecting Intention to Use "Fintech" among "Gen Z" and "Gen Y" in Gujarat
The combination of technology and financial services is referred to as Fintech. Fintech has become a buzzword since the economic crisis of 2008. The adoption of fintech has seen a new reach in recent years, and Gen Z and Gen Y have emerged as the main drivers of this adoption. Considering the unique regional characteristics of the Gujarat region, this study has investigated the factors affecting Gen Z and Gen Y's intention to use fintech in this region. 315 responses were collected from an online survey. A conceptual model was developed from the literature review and a Structural Equation Model was run in AMOS to test the relationship between dependent and independent variables. The study found a significant relationship between all the variables apart from the relationship between attitude and perceived risk. The results of the study will help the policy developers for better financial inclusion, along with fintech business taking place in the region.
