Pilot Study on a Natural Recovery Cream for Enhancing Skin Temperature and Circulation with Thermographic and Laser Imaging

Objectives: This pilot study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Natural Recovery Cream, a natural-ingredient-based topical product, in enhancing skin temperature and peripheral blood circulation, with potential applications in musculoskeletal and circulatory care. Methods: A single patch test was conducted on 30 healthy female participants to assess skin response. In a separate group of 20 participants, changes in skin temperature and blood circulation were measured using FLIR T620 infrared thermography and moor FLPI-2 TM laser speckle contrast imaging.User satisfaction was evaluated through surveys, and adverse reactions were monitored.Statistical analyses were performed with Wilcoxon signed-rank tests using SPSS program. Results: No adverse skin response was observed (mean reaction score: 0.00).Skin temperature increased by 4.16% (P < 0.01), and blood circulation improved by 108.10% in flux units (P < 0.01).Survey responses indicated high user satisfaction regarding application, absorption, thermal sensation, and overall experience. Conclusion:The Natural Recovery Cream demonstrated safety and effectiveness in enhancing skin temperature and circulation, supporting its potential as a non-invasive topical option for promoting peripheral blood flow and relieving musculoskeletal discomfort.Further studies with larger and more diverse populations should be investigated to explore long-term benefits.
