The Impacts of Major Chronic Diseases on Changes in Healthy Life Expectancy among Older Adults in China from 2011 to 2020.
HLE 60 in China improved from 2011 to 2020 and IHD remained the leading contributor to its decline, particularly through increased mortality. Disabilities related to diabetes, stroke, and arthritis had significant negative impacts. These findings highlight the need to strengthen integrated chronic disease prevention and rehabilitation services at community health centers.
