Transfinite Cohomological Bounds on the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture via Iwasawa Theory of Elliptic Curves

Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a rigorous derivation of the p-adic valuationof the L-function associated with an elliptic curve E overQ with good ordinary reduction at a prime p. By con-structing a transfinite tower of cyclotomic extensions andanalyzing the asymptotic behavior of the Selmer groupsSelp∞ (E/Q∞), we establish a direct cohomological link be-tween the characteristic ideal of the dual Selmer group andthe p-adic L-function Lp(E, T ). We prove a series of eightfundamental lemmas regarding the local-to-global principlein Galois cohomology, culminating in a proof that the non-vanishing of the crystalline regulator implies the finitenessof the Tate-Shafarevich group X(E/Q)[p∞] under analyticrank constraints. This work serves as a foundational frame-work for the "Transfinite" generalization of the Birch andSwinnerton-Dyer conjecture.
